safe Our Babies - But Not With Evenflo

I wish I had been a 'blogger' a merge of years ago so that I may have shared this single incident with you earlier. Although, now is better than never.

If you are a parent, then I'm sure you are well-known with the company, Evenflo. For those who are parents-to-be, or know of someone who is having a child, Evenflo is a very recognized baby products company. In my experience as a parent of three, I have always trusted Graco, other well-known baby products brand, for my children's car seats, and strollers, but for my second child I decided to give Evenflo a try. This was a first and will be a last.

Graco

Although it was in 2006, I belief it would still be of interest to those debating on which baby brand to go with when it comes to car seats and strollers. Evenflo, at the time, had a very competitive price on one of their complete travel systems from the series, Journey. By complete, I mean both a car seat and stroller in one, including a detachable base for the car seat. Majority of the time travel systems come with what I have just mentioned, but you will get your occasional travel law that doesn't. We had purchased ours from Wal-Mart for almost 9.99 give or take.

Mind you I had not used the stroller all the time for the first few months, as I did not find the need to use it right away. It was only the car seat that I was using. Despite that, nearby six months after purchasing their product, I noticed that the stroller began to wobble as I was pushing it. My motherly instinct was telling me to stop using the stroller but I ignored it thinking, 'what can maybe go wrong?', I should have listened to myself because the unthinkable happened. The front right wheel of the stroller had come off! At first I belief that maybe it just had been unlocked from its pole, but the wheel itself had been mutilated. My son was fine and I obviously stopped using the stroller until I was able to get in experience with Evenflo to solve this predicament. I must admit, I did not make that much of an exertion to call right away, just as well, a week later the cope of the car seat, which is in a shape of a 'Z', had come apart while I was carrying my son in the car seat! Luckily, he was not hurt and I was not carrying him at a higher elevation.

I immediately took performance and called Evenflo, explaining what had happened. They had offered to replace the entire travel law at no fee to me; the only thing was that the car seat and stroller would not be matching. I received the new travel law within the ten enterprise days that they promised; I continued to use the new set until I had my third child, with no problems. Even though there were no problems the second time around, there shouldn't have been any problems to begin with.

Although the price was nice, it was not worth the money spent, I would not be a returning buyer for Evenflo. In this case it is quality, not quantity. Security is a huge factor and they have failed to contribute that. I would not propose Evenflo car seats and strollers to anyone.
