How to Make a Used Car Look New

Many who have used cars want to make the car look as though it is new. Whether you want to sell your used car, or make it look new, there a estimate of things you can do to give your car a great make-over.

Before you begin any work on your car, you should carefully explore it to look for any damage or blemishes that may require repair. Evaluate both the interior and covering of the car. 1. The covering of the car is the first thing a man sees so it is primary to fix and fully clean it. You want to make the paint look new. You can seal and cover any rusted areas by applying a coat of paint. A capability spray paint is a good choice. If you have any loose-fitting parts, have a mechanic fix them. If the parts are in very poor condition, replace them. Scratches can be sanded and applied with paint. Make sure you have filled any chips in the rear view mirrors. As well, make sure the paint matches the paint with the rest of the car. Once the repairs are done and any wet areas have fully dried, wash and wax the car.

2. Check your tires. Are they badly tarnished or are the treads severely worn? You may have to replace some tires. There are extra products that can clean tires and bring out the shine.

3. With the interior of the car, clear out any trash that has been accumulating. Vacuum and clean the interior of the car. Make sure you clean in the crevices and under the seats. 4. Look for any old or missing car devices such as windshield wipers, lights, trim, ashtrays...etc. Replace any item that makes the car look damaged or of poor quality.

5. Check to see how well the car is running. Are the brakes squealing? Is the muffler loud? How old is the battery? You may have to have some repairs done or replace some devices. You can also clean the motor, convert the oil, add lube to varied parts, and fasten loose wires.

We all enjoy shiny brand new cars. It is prominent to be aware of the fact that just because you have a used car, it does not mean that it has to look like a used car. Proper repairs and cleaning can make any used car look roughly brand new.
